Getting Started with cPanel
cPanel is the control panel for your hosting account. It lets you manage files, email, databases and domains from one dashboard.
How to log in
- Go to
https://yourdomain.com/cpanelorhttps://yourdomain.com:2083 - Enter the cPanel username and password from your welcome email
Main sections
- Files — File Manager, FTP accounts, backups
- Databases — MySQL databases, phpMyAdmin
- Email — email accounts, forwarders, webmail
- Domains — addon domains, subdomains, redirects
- Metrics — visitor stats, errors, bandwidth
- Security — SSL/TLS, IP blocker, hotlink protection
Common first tasks
- Install a free SSL certificate under Security → SSL/TLS Status
- Create your website email accounts under Email Accounts
- Upload your site with File Manager into
public_html
